Washington Monument,

The
Washington Monument is the oldest of the three presidential memorials
on the National Mall. It was finished back in late 1884 as a memorial
to our first president, George Washington. Designed as a true Egyptian
obelisk, it stands 555 feet and 5 1/8 inches tall.
